WHO WE ARE
Our website address is: https://allisonbliss.com. We provide marketing services to businesses and non profits. The company was founded and owned by Allison Bliss: www.AllisonBliss.com/contact
WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
We also use forms on our site to make it easy for visitors to sign up for information, enews tips, purchases of online products, programs or details on scheduling our services like date/time availability. Information may include name, date, email, phone, comments, requests or scheduling information. This information is used for visitors’ convenience and communication efficiency. We save information on signups for communications in order to send our occasional tips or relevant useful information. Those communications are generally via our mail sending service so opt outs are available, if requested. On occasion, we’ll use Ninja forms to collect data used and stored for similar purposes.
If you upload images to the website blog pages, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
We use standard Google analytics to track what is useful to visitors and what may not be working properly on our website. Visitors are welcome to send comments, as well, through our contact page: www.AllisonBliss.com/contact.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
We use a revolving and constantly updated set of platforms and plugins to build and manage our website:
When visitors or users submit a Forminator form, we capture the IP Address for spam protection. We also capture the email address and might capture other personal data included in the Form fields. This information is only retained in our internal database and not for resale. Other plugins are generally used for back end management of the website.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Visitors who register for our enews, purchase products or request program/service information are stored about 20 years, unless cancellation is requested.
WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA
If you have signed up for anything on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
WHERE WE SEND YOUR DATA
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA
Any saved data is protected in our secure database. Our website is regularly updated with security protections from our site host, as well.
WHERE WE SEND YOUR DATA
All collected data might be shown publicly and we send it to our workers or contractors to perform necessary actions based on the form submission.
