    • Filemaker Pro: (best relational database - CRM-  for comparative info)
    • Doodle.comallows you to schedule with multiple people without having to weed through dozens of emails to coordinate. So easy to use. Creates a form allowing invitees to schedule online, privately. Saves time!
    • Evernote: Capture and organize notes, ideas, and documents in one place.
    • Todoist: Create and manage to-do lists and set reminders for important tasks. (there is no "l" in the name. It's not a typo)
    • Google Keep: Quickly jot down notes, create checklists, and set reminders.

 

ACCOUNTING & INVOICING

    • QuickBooks: Automate accounting processes, manage finances, and generate invoices. (all online, caution: prices increased 60% this year for subscription! Going from desktop to online is fraught with issues!)
    • FreshBooks: Create professional invoices, track expenses, and handle basic accounting tasks.
    • Xero: Streamline accounting workflows, track expenses, and generate invoices effortlessly.

 

EMAIL & COMMUNICATION 

    • Gmail: Efficiently manage emails, utilize filters, and organize your inbox. (I like it's ability to filter spam and other categories so I'm not wasting time with those emails)
    • Slack: Communicate and collaborate with team members in real-time.
    • Zoom: Conduct virtual meetings and video conferences with ease.

 

 

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

    • Hootsuite: Schedule and manage social media posts across multiple platforms. (there are less costly options. contact us if you want information on our top picks to fit your unique situation)
    • Buffer: Plan and automate social media content publishing.
    • Sprout Social: Monitor social media engagement, schedule posts, and analyze performance.

 

AUTOMATION & INTEGRATION

(I don't use these with any of my small business clients, but they may be useful for your business:)

  • Zapier: Connect different apps and automate workflows to save time on repetitive tasks.
  • IFTTT (If This, Then That): Create automated actions between apps and services based on triggers.
  • Integromat: Build custom integrations and automate workflows across various platforms.

    Thank you so much for all the resources! I wanted to let your readers know about insightly(www.insightly.com), which is the CRM I use. It’s free for 1 or 2 users and is very full featured for keeping track of customers, leads and projects. It does take a little forethought to set it up, but it has worked very well for me.
