Is Walking really is ancient medicine.
"Hippocrates — the father of modern medicine — said "Walking is man's best medicine" around 400 BC. But the Chinese were already ahead of him. Traditional Chinese Medicine has prescribed seasonal mindful walking for over 2,000 years as a way to move Qi (life energy) through the body, regulate the nervous system, and prevent disease.
Modern science now backs this up completely — a slow, mindful 20-minute walk outdoors has been shown to lower cortisol levels by up to 15%, reduce blood pressure, and improve vagal tone, which is basically your body's ability to recover from stress."

My personal experience of walking as healing:
Whenever I have felt an utter exhaustion, a craving for oranges, or a cold/flu starting to surface, I rally my energy just enough to go for a walk until I'm out of breath (usually not too fast or too far). Within a few hours I realize I've knocked the bug - or chi disruption- out and feel fine. Only time it didn't work was when I got pneumonia a few years ago. Otherwise, I just don't get sick, except 2 times I forgot to walk it out!
Now I use Walks with Bliss to "heal" business CEOs, owners, entrepreneurs so clients get specific strategic advice, but also the benefit of walking. What epiphanies do people experience?
